This, i think is the interface in V8. I am not sure, i got it from the chinese forum, the automatic translation didn't help me much. http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/2559/34920029.jpg http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/3453/v82.jpg http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/5850/v83.jpg They seem different to m...

Re: Malware Research Group Project #18
The results aren't bad, but in the past we 've seen better. I have a theory on that though :D . Being few persons they are working on releasing the new version and have somewhat neglected the signature hunt. Well, it's an encouraging theory! :D Anyway, the time for the new Twister is coming. I hope ...

Re: The performance of Twistee in the VB100% Test(April 2009)
Its a good result even if it failed, I would bet my money that the failure was because they use all US/UK type malware where as Twister is more likely to have China/Japan/Thai - Malware files, And the FP result was quite good I don't know if they tested FDDS but if they did not It would be a reason...

Thanks Renegade. I see that this is on demand test, so I am Ok for Twister's results. If you add what FDD would catch in real time, then it's fine.

Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Sadly, I had couple of BSOD's in realtime and uninstalled Twister. My Vista is unstable with Twister and I will wait for the next major release to see if it's more compatible and stable. Sorry to hear that Miyagi... So now instead of BSODing during scan, it BSODs in realtime? I am pr...

Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Fuzzfas NAILED it!! No BSOD after a Full Scan this afternoon. I updated 2 drivers - audio and video. Also downloaded and installed the 2 programs which Fuzzfas recommended just in case. I never expected this to be the culprit to my issues. The on-demand scan used the default setting plus the "Regis...

Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Miyagi, you will also need Windows Debugging Tools: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/installx86.mspx#a I reccommend the Nov 2008 (6.10) version, because i am sure it works fine with WhoCrashed. The procedure is this: You install Win Debugging Tools and Whocrashed. You wait until a BS...
