False Positive on NSIS

Postby orlando » Tue Dec 30, 2014 6:49 pm

Hello,
Twister Antivirus is currently falsely detecting NSIS's LZMA-solid (ANSI) compression stub. The detection is "Trojan.Agent.idnf.pwtr"

Here's a link to download the file:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/f68f3v

This file can be found in the public release of NSIS version 3.0 b1 here: http://nsis.sourceforge.net

Please resolve this as soon as possible

Thank you
orlando

You still have not resolved this false positive. To whom should I submit this false positive to if the forum isn't the proper medium of support?

I havn`t used Twister in a long time but there used to be a submission tab to send False positives, there also used to be an option wherby you could right click the file and there was a Twister icon that gave an option to submit.
I cannot remember if that was version 7 or 8 though.
Lets Twist again, like we did last summer.
