I was downloading a windows 2000 SP4 .exe for a friend and as it reached 96% twister came up and alarted and closed out IE8, im not sure why this is.

running Twister on Windows 7 32bit.

the FFDSlog shows this, but i dont think it will give any info on the issue. sorry i dont have any smaller example its the only file that has been stop from being downloaded. the download was from microsoft.com it self

FFDSlog
2009-12-26 00:31:22, Success to kill process C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe(PID:3172), return code: 18
2009-12-26 00:31:22, Found Hidden Process C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (PID:3172), it has been killed. Please note, maybe its caller C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE (PID:2188) dangers too.
2009-12-26 00:31:22, HiddenWindowProcess: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe, IsHidden:1(12), NoWindowCount:0, NoAccessRights:0
in Twister program it self it didnt show anything in the log part of it or anything about the alarts.

Hi Brocke,

Did you activate Quiet mode in FDDS options ?
At what security level are you using FDDS ?
I do not think it is related to the download but seems Twister was triggered by a hidden window created by iexplore

Its not the best solution, but if the problem only happens with this download then disable twister while it downloads and when its done let it run again :)
