Blue screen crashes in Windows 7 - 32bit

Post by clocks » Sun May 23, 2010 10:18 pm

I am new to Twister, and have been trying to test it out. I have tried it on two different Win7 PCs, and it cause multiple blue screen crashes on both. Anyone else having similar issues? thanks

@clock,

It's a common problem.

1. Do you have any other anti-virus software or similar softwares?
2. Please try to completely unstall twister and download the latest version from here and install again.

If the problem is unsolved, continue to reply here or contact filsec lab directly by email: [email protected].

I tried it without any other antimalware software. Maybe it is conflicting with Dropbox.

Is the problem solved? You can firstly unstall the dropbox and see how it goes

No, I gave up on the program, at least until next weekend. I can't deal with an unstable PC during the week. I plan to revisit, but I want to think things through some more as to what can be causing the blue screens.

I know this current build was just released a few days ago, and I thought they said the English version has not been tested. Maybe it still has some bugs to be worked out?

@clock,

I did not know any new released version of Twister. I just wrote a email to confirm that. The developer may come to this forum to answer your question.

Best regards!

Maybe I was mistaken about how new the build was. I hope I can get it working smoothly, as I love how light it is, and the GUI is nice.

I gave Twister one more shot. Installed it, registered it. Rebooted after the prompt. PC boots back up, click to allow the Twister updates, and blue screen crash. Ugh

Love how light the program is, and it has a nice GUI & features, but it was highly unstable for me on the two PCs I have tried it on.

@clock,

Today I get the reply from Filsec Lab. They are too busy in the new version.

They ask if you can download the file from here and follow the readme_en.txt.

Best regards!
